Private Villa Management

Samui Villas and Homes (SV&H) was established in 2001 by a group of expatriates who had built holiday villas on Koh Samui and used the initial idea for the company to manage these up-market villas.

The International Marketing & Letting of the luxury villas was hand out to Island Property Services Ltd for which SV&H acts as a Ground Handling Agent

Due to the extensive property experience and background of the partners involved, combined with market demand, SV&H has expanded to confidently service the most luxurious villas and estates on the island.

While SV&H is a relatively young company, it has rapidly and clearly set its mission statement at the forefront of the market and focuses its service exclusively to the luxury properties on Koh Samui.

The Portfolio

The Portfolio 2007 consists of over 50 private villas that are either detached or part of an outstanding estate and located in various parts of the island, with the following specifications:

• From 2 to 6 bedrooms
• Daily rates ranging from US$250 to 2,000 ++
• All villas have a private pool
• Each villa is serviced by its own employee (from 3 to 6) with an English speaking villa manageress, a Thai Chef is exclusive to “The Signature Collection” branding.
• SV&H helps and supports to achieve a high level of FFE using a thorough facilities and amenities inventory to ensure high standards are maintained amongst all the properties

Service to the Guests

The SV&H operations team strives to provide the finest experience to every guest staying in one of their holiday villas. Such service encompasses, but is not limited to:

• Full management of reservation and payment (through IPSL Ltd)
• Full Guest Relations Management service
• ‘Concierge Service’ to cater for special needs
• Standards of in-villa services following SOPs established by SV&H’ Villa Operation Manageress and based on the hotel industry 5 star service. Continuous training and education (English classes, wine knowledge training, hygiene standard, …) are performed to maintain service to the highest level.

Marketing

Island Property Services Ltd (IPSL) has developed two exclusive brands; ‘The Signature Collection’ and ‘The Boutique Villas’ which have been established with consideration in the standard of facilities, amenities, design and concept of the villas in the portfolio. Each brand has its dedicated web site (www.thesignaturecollection.com and www.theboutiquevillas.com) in order to further identify the properties within the SV&H portfolio.

IPSL has an extensive network of booking partners and the yearly marketing actions include attendance to int’al trade shows, road shows, a quarterly newsletter and PR coverage.

As part of the promotion of the destination and the lifestyle attached to it, SV&H is also a sponsor of the Koh Samui Regatta and was the first company on Samui to organize a friendly Invitational Golf Tournament with the fifth edition to be held in September 2007.

Service to the Owners

The SV&H team strives to provide a turn key service solution to the owner(s) of a property. Such service encompasses, but is not limited to:

• Full Administration and accounting of the property and provision of real time information feed back to the individual owners
• Management of the on going maintenance schedule using its own technical and logistical support team (SVH Services) to assist the villa operations.
• Select sub contractors for various maintenance services Pest control, ...).
• Training of the villa employee using specific SOPs
• Real time reporting on activities in the property
