Our newest luxury villas, Miskawaan Villa Sila, the latest edition to the Miskawaan Estate. And by far the most sought after villas on Koh Samui. Located on Mae Nam beach, The Residences are two adjacent seven-bedroom villas that can be booked individually or together. Easily removed dividing walls can create your own personal retreat that can sleep 28 adults and 12 children. Both villas offer the ultimate in grandeur, relaxation and privacy with direct access on to the golden sands through a private beach door.

Miskawaan Villa Sila is on the left hand side as you approach the entrance. Double timber doors, an enchanting lotus pond and elegant Thai-inspired artwork greet you on arrival. Seven spacious en-suite double and twin rooms stretch out in front of you surrounded by landscaped gardens, patio areas and a luxuriant lawn. Large windows and sliding doors feature throughout to allow plenty of natural light during the day. And the rooms have indoor and private outdoor showers, double vanity units and the interconnecting rooms have sunken baths.

Children have their own separate living room, with a 40 inch flat-screen TV, and en-suite bunk room. And up on the shared first floor you'll find the fitness centre, sauna room, the multi-media room, outdoor massage sala, a second outdoor sala for relaxing and taking in the vista, a pantry and shower facilities.

In front of the Master Suite the 15 metre by 5 metre private swimming pool, filled with mineralized treated water, sits above the golden sands of Mae Nam beach. The extensive front lawn, pool and patio area is elevated high enough over the 19.3 metre beach front to give you magnificent views without allowing passers-by to look in. An ornate covered sala by the pool has a dining area for 14 with the latest outdoor barbecue equipment, a bar fridge and surround sound speakers.

The extensive central living room also has a magnificent Thai wood dining table for 14, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV (as do all the bedrooms), comfy sofas, a fully-fitted Western kitchen with access to the large Thai kitchen where the chefs will prepare your meals. A Villa Manager and several staff members live on site and are on-call, there's round-the-clock security, free Wi-Fi throughout the villa, underground car-parking and it's just a short stroll into Mae Nam village.

• Miskawaan Villa Sila staff will ensure the villa is kept clean and tidy while the Villa Manager is available to cater to all Guests specific needs and help organise activities, massage and spa treatment as well as communication with the Thai chef and dealing with any matter arising at the villa
• Our Guest Relations & Concierge team will visit guests during their stay (usually the day after check in) to further help ensuring guests have a pleasant stay or address any matters arising at the villa
• Bed linen is changed every third day, while towels are changed as necessary
• Pool towels are provided and replenished as deemed necessary
