Welcome note
Welcome to our next Group newsletter. A lot has been happening since our last edition.
In brief, SVH was very proud to receive the "Best Agent" award for the second running year which epitomizes our commitment to serving quality properties.
Our Group has initiated a very active environmental friendly policy and is looking at off setting its carbon footprint.
Our Phuket office is now well in place and further management agreement and contracts have been signed during the earlier part of 2008.
As we are now entering the pleasant summer months there are still a lot of activities taking place as we are about to witness another successful Koh Samui Regatta!

Eco friendly policy |

Following the UN “2008 Earth year”, our Group has launched a proactive environmental policy after a few years of quiet recycling policy.
We are now:
- Voluntarily measuring and off setting our carbon foot print (air & car mileage, electricity)
- Voluntarily matching all amounts generated by recycling activity in all villas
- All events are prepared with an eco friendly approached to reduce waste and carbon foot print
- Production of Effective Micro organism in all villas by June 08 which will be used as natural fertilizer in the garden
- Strategy to replace all standards bulb for fully recyclable low power usage bulbs from our partner Megaman
- Training and education of our employee on the environment and how they can help make a difference
The Group is now working in setting up an agreement with an UN recognized eco program, preferably in Thailand, to offset all its above activities.
Our next step is to approach our valued Guests to offer them the opportunity to offset their traveling and/or villa holiday. |
