After a successful relocation to Royal Phuket Marina last year, the Phuket International Marine Expo 2008 (PIMEX) will be held there again from 4th to 7th December. Concurrent with the Phuket Kings Cup Regatta and other early season events, increasing numbers of exhibitors and visitors are expected.
This year, over 2,000 square metres of air-conditioned exhibition hall will be available overlooking and adjacent to berthing for up to 35 boats. 12 yachts are already booked into the in-water display and more than ten companies have already indicated their attendance. This is a good sign and expectations are high for this Thailandīs only boat show.
Phuket is the centre of Thailandīs growing marine industry and the waterside venue is an ideal location for this marine and lifestyle show. For visitors there will be plenty of activities and exhibits.
